With a foundation in business studies, Miss Forbes has commenced her legal practice primarily in the areas of Commercial and Civil Litigation. She particularly deals with Private International Law disputes and Personal Injury claims.

After obtaining an Associate of Arts Degree (With Honours) in Law and Criminal Justice at the College of the Bahamas, she moved on to obtain her Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) (With Honors) in Law With Business Studies at the University of Birmingham in Birmingham, England. There, she made her presence felt, not only in her debating and mooting societies, but in particular when she was voted-in the Student Representative for the Law With Business Studies Program for three consecutive years, the duration of her stint at Birmingham.

Following her undergraduate studies, Miss Forbes undertook her postgraduate studies at Northumbria University in England where she obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Law (PgDL) and was Called To The Bar of England and Wales at Lincoln’s Inn, London in July 2008. Following that, she was Called To The Bahamas Bar in Nassau, Bahamas in September 2008.
